Individualized Training Programs

Derby Method has been delivering results and creating lasting relationships with clients since its establishment in southern Vermont in 2014. My goal is to create exciting individual programs that address the personal goals of each client while providing them with exercises that will help to lessen chronic pain and reduce the risk of injury.

The right trainer makes all the difference

You have plenty of options when it comes to fitness. I strive to ensure that the relationships I build with each client are positive, encouraging and long-lasting so that I can truly provide the best experience for whatever your goals may be. Whether you’re hustling 9 to 5 Downtown, enjoying your retirement in Echo Park, or anything else in between, I’ll be able to meet you exactly where you are. My clients and I have had the most success when we are able to pair the hard work that they’ve put in with challenging and exciting exercises that build progressively on each other. I am always available for questions and I try, most of all, to teach. I believe that personal training doesn’t need to be a life long commitment. I make sure that clients not only progress when they are with me, but that they have every opportunity to take ownership of their program, find their independence, and continue their journey.

“Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.”

-Sheryl Sandberg

“I can now honestly say that I am very confident in myself as a person, because Sean proved to me that no obstacle is too great to overcome. Even though I still have a lot of work to do and a long way to go to reach my more developed goals, I know that they won’t be impossible.”
